Free pattern library

Original designs for every craft on the site, each with a free PDF, a materials list and a one-click route into the stitch tracker.

Made here, free to make

Every design in the library is drawn in our own editor and checked as a finished render before it goes up. Pattern pages show what the piece will look like, list every colour with the amount to buy, and let you download a printable PDF or open the design straight in the stitch tracker.

Because each pattern is stored as a craft-neutral grid, you can remake any of them in a different craft: turn a cross-stitch motif into fuse beads, or a bead sprite into a C2C pillow, and the colours and materials are converted automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Who designs these patterns?

The CraftPatterns team, in our own editor. Every design is original — no characters, logos or copies of other designers’ charts.

Can I sell things I make from them?

You can sell finished items you make by hand from our patterns in small quantities with credit to craftpatterns.app. Please don’t sell or redistribute the patterns themselves (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Can I turn a cross stitch pattern into beads or a bracelet?

Yes. On any pattern page choose a craft under Edit or remake it as and open it in the editor; colours and proportions are converted for you.

How often do you add patterns?

Regularly — new designs appear in the library and the changelog. Suggestions are welcome through the contact page.
