About this design
The disk is square with one clipped corner, a silver shutter at the top with a dark slot, and a white label at the bottom with two grey lines for writing. The blue is darker along the bottom edge for depth.
How to use it
Use it for a computing class display, a coder’s gift or a “saved” sticker. It is a clean, geometric fuse bead project with a pleasing retro look. Change the blue to black, red or another disk colour in the editor.
Size and bead counts
The picture fills 195 of the 256 squares in its grid, within an area 14 squares wide and 14 tall; the rest stay empty. It uses 6 colours: black 67 (#111122), blue 53 (#3355AA), white 36 (#FFFFFF), light blue 22 (#CCCCDD), light grey 12 (#DDDDDD), dark blue 5 (#223377). Made with 5 mm fuse beads it measures about 7.0 × 7.0 cm and fits on one standard 29 × 29 pegboard. Stitched on 14-count Aida it is about 2.5 × 2.5 cm, or 3.2 × 3.2 cm on 11-count, so add a few centimetres of fabric on every side for the hoop.
Colour plan
#111122 does the most work, 34% of the 195 pixels, followed by #3355AA at 27%. #223377 (5) is used only a little: small details worth marking on the chart so you don't miss them. 24% of the grid is left empty.
Working notes
It is 16 × 16 pixels; at 8× scale it becomes 128 × 128. The busiest row changes colour 10 times.
