About this design
Each layer is one or two pixels high so all of them fit: a domed bun with cream sesame seeds, green lettuce, red tomato, yellow cheese with drips over the patty, a brown patty with darker texture, and the flat bottom bun. The layers stick out slightly past the bun, like a real burger.
How to use it
Use it for a barbecue invitation, a food truck sign or a game item. It is a satisfying fuse bead project because each layer is a different colour. Remove the cheese row in the editor for a plain burger.
Size and bead counts
The picture fills 182 of the 256 squares in its grid, within an area 16 squares wide and 14 tall; the rest stay empty. It uses 8 colours: light orange 54 (#DD9944), dark brown 42 (#332211), light brown 22 (#663322), yellow 16 (#FFCC22), dark orange 14 (#AA6622), green 14 (#66BB33), red 14 (#DD3322), light yellow 6 (#FFEECC). Made with 5 mm fuse beads it measures about 8.0 × 7.0 cm and fits on one standard 29 × 29 pegboard. Stitched on 14-count Aida it is about 2.9 × 2.5 cm, or 3.7 × 3.2 cm on 11-count, so add a few centimetres of fabric on every side for the hoop.
Colour plan
#DD9944 does the most work, 30% of the 182 pixels, followed by #332211 at 23%. #FFEECC (6) is used only a little: small details worth marking on the chart so you don't miss them. 29% of the grid is left empty.
Working notes
It is 16 × 16 pixels; at 8× scale it becomes 128 × 128. The busiest row changes colour 8 times.
