About this design
This cat is curled up in a loaf shape, the pose every cat owner knows. Its body is warm orange with a few darker orange stripes across the back, its two pointed ears stick up on the left, and its closed eyes are tiny dark lines. A pink nose and a single white paw tucked under the chin add a touch of contrast. Above it, a soft blue Z drifts up and to the right, the universal sign for sleep.
How to use it
The sleeping cat makes a lovely “away” or “idle” status icon, a loading screen sprite or a sticker. Change the orange to grey, black or cream in the editor to match your own cat. Export at 8× for a crisp 128-pixel image, or switch to fuse beads or cross stitch to make a version you can hang on the wall. The sprite fills 118 of the 256 pixels and leaves the rest transparent, so it sits cleanly on any background colour in a game or on a web page.
Colour plan
#EE9944 does the most work, 53% of the 118 pixels, followed by #332222 at 32%. #8899CC (8), #BB6622 (6), #FFFFFF (2) and #FF99AA (1) are used only a little: small details worth marking on the chart so you don't miss them. 54% of the grid is left empty.
Working notes
It is 16 × 16 pixels; at 8× scale it becomes 128 × 128. The busiest row changes colour 9 times.
