About this design
The saucer is a wide grey disc with four yellow lights along the rim and a darker underside. A pale blue glass dome sits on top with a little green figure visible inside, and diagonal green lines fan out below for the beam.
How to use it
Use it for a space party, a sci-fi game or a funny “take me to your leader” card. It pairs with the alien pattern. In fuse beads, use glow-in-the-dark beads for the beam.
Size and bead counts
The picture fills 125 of the 256 squares in its grid, within an area 16 squares wide and 14 tall; the rest stay empty. It uses 7 colours: black 43 (#111122), grey 23 (#888899), light grey 21 (#BBBBCC), light teal 18 (#AAEEFF), green 12 (#CCFF66), light green 4 (#99DDCC), yellow 4 (#FFEE55). Made with 5 mm fuse beads it measures about 8.0 × 7.0 cm and fits on one standard 29 × 29 pegboard. Stitched on 14-count Aida it is about 2.9 × 2.5 cm, or 3.7 × 3.2 cm on 11-count, so add a few centimetres of fabric on every side for the hoop.
Colour plan
#111122 does the most work, 34% of the 125 pixels, followed by #888899 at 18%. #99DDCC (4) and #FFEE55 (4) are used only a little: small details worth marking on the chart so you don't miss them. 51% of the grid is left empty.
Working notes
It is 16 × 16 pixels; at 8× scale it becomes 128 × 128. The busiest row changes colour 11 times.
