Free C2C crochet graphs

Corner-to-corner graphs for blankets, pillows and wall hangings, each with written diagonal rows and yarn estimates.

Every graph here comes with diagonal written rows, starting at the bottom-right corner, so you can crochet from the list instead of counting squares on a chart. Yarn amounts are estimated from a metres-per-block figure — make a small swatch to adjust it to your yarn and hook.

The colours are our own named yarn shades rather than one brand, so choose the closest yarn you can buy for each.

Before you start a blanket, decide on a block size by crocheting a small swatch of ten diagonal rows in your yarn and hook. Measure one block and multiply by the graph width and height: with 2.5 cm blocks a 40-block graph is about a metre across, which suits a lap blanket, while the same graph with smaller blocks in DK yarn makes a cushion front.

Graphs with large areas of one background colour are the easiest place to begin, because most diagonal rows need no colour change at all. Busier designs with lots of small motifs mean more bobbins and more ends to weave in; joining each new colour with a few blocks of overlap on the back keeps the ends secure.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I start a C2C graph?

Our written rows start at the bottom-right corner and alternate direction each row; the chart shows the same layout.

How big will the blanket be?

It depends on your block size. Measure one block of your swatch and multiply by the graph width and height.

How much yarn do I need?

Each page estimates metres per colour from the number of blocks. Weigh a swatch to adjust the figure for your yarn.

Can I make the graph bigger?

Use bigger blocks (thicker yarn and a larger hook) for a bigger blanket from the same graph, or add a simple border, a few rounds of single or half double crochet, around the finished blanket. The C2C blanket calculator shows the size for your block size.
