The short version
- Your photos are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- There are no accounts, logins or email sign-ups.
- We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not, to count page visits.
- There are no ads and no advertising cookies.
What is stored on your device
Projects you save, tracker progress, your last settings and theme choice are stored in your browser (IndexedDB and local storage). Text-pattern share links contain the pattern settings after the # in the address, which is not sent to our server. A service worker caches the site so the tracker works offline. Delete everything with the button below or by clearing site data in your browser.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, how people arrive at the site and roughly where they are (country or city level). It sets cookies (named _ga and similar) that tell repeat visits apart, and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; see also how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Google Analytics never sees your photos, patterns or saved projects: those stay in your browser. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies for this site.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, to see how fast pages load.
Advertising
The site shows no ads and uses no advertising cookies. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and you will be asked for consent where the law requires it.
