About this design
The skull is rounded at the top and narrows to a jaw with three black teeth gaps. The eye sockets are large and filled solid, with a single white notch to keep the face friendly, and the nose is a small upside-down triangle.
How to use it
Use it for Halloween bead magnets, a pirate party, or decorate it with colourful flowers in the editor for a Day of the Dead calavera. It glows nicely in glow-in-the-dark fuse beads in place of the white.
Size and bead counts
The picture fills 150 of the 256 squares in its grid, within an area 14 squares wide and 14 tall; the rest stay empty. It uses 2 colours: black 76 (#111111), white 74 (#FFFFFF). Made with 5 mm fuse beads it measures about 7.0 × 7.0 cm and fits on one standard 29 × 29 pegboard. Stitched on 14-count Aida it is about 2.5 × 2.5 cm, or 3.2 × 3.2 cm on 11-count, so add a few centimetres of fabric on every side for the hoop.
Colour plan
#111111 does the most work, 51% of the 150 pixels, followed by #FFFFFF at 49%. Every colour is used at least 74 times, so there are no tiny one-off details to hunt for. 41% of the grid is left empty.
Working notes
It is 16 × 16 pixels; at 8× scale it becomes 128 × 128. The busiest row changes colour 8 times.
