About this design
The cactus has a tall rounded central stem and two arms, one on each side at different heights, in Kelly Green with Forest green ribs running down every third column. A small Hot Pink flower blooms at the top. It stands in a tapered Rust terracotta pot, and the background is Blush, which complements the green and makes the pink flower pop. It suits a rectangular pillow, a wall hanging or the centre panel of a bigger blanket.
Size and yarn
The graph is 30 × 36 blocks and is worked in 65 diagonal rows from the bottom-right corner. With 2.5 cm blocks (worsted yarn and a 5 mm hook) it measures about 75 × 90 cm; with 2 cm blocks in DK yarn it is about 60 × 72 cm. The largest colour is Blush, with 778 of the 1,080 blocks.
